NeuroSpicy Finance is a playful money-care app designed for neurodivergent brains. The app is provided by Alt Production Group Limited, trading under Alt Production Studios.

What data the app stores

The app may store the following information locally on your device:

Transactions you enter, including title, amount, category, income/spending type, and date.
Savings goals and progress.
Recurring bills and paid/unpaid status.
Mood check-ins if you use the mood feature.
App settings such as theme, reminder hour, gentle language mode, and passcode lock preference.

Where data is stored

Your finance data is stored locally on your device using the Android app database. We do not currently run a server account system and we do not sell your data.

Notifications

If enabled, the app schedules local Money Bird reminders. These reminders are generated on your device. Notification permission can be disabled in Android settings or in the app settings.

Backups

The app can export an encrypted backup file if you choose to use that feature. Encrypted backups are protected with a password you provide. You are responsible for keeping that password safe. If you lose it, the app cannot decrypt the backup. Backup export and restore are user-initiated actions.

Passcode lock

If enabled, the app uses a local passcode lock. The passcode is not stored in plain text. It is protected using Android Keystore-backed cryptographic hashing where supported. This is an app privacy feature and does not replace your device lock screen.

Data sharing

The app does not intentionally share your finance data with third parties. If you export a backup or share text from the app, you choose where that exported data goes.

Analytics and advertising

Current status: no advertising SDKs and no analytics SDKs are included. If analytics, crash reporting, advertising, cloud backup, or account features are added in the future, this policy will be updated before release of those features.

Children's privacy

This app is intended for adults managing their own finances. It is not designed for children.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual transactions, goals, and recurring bills in the app. Android app storage can also be cleared from system settings to remove local app data.
